The Lastest

We really appreciate all of your support. It is good to see so many people getting the knack of blogging! The comments are great to read and mean a lot to us. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we just received word this morning from the in-country team that we need to delay our travel date - again. For those of you not familiar with the process, the delays are related to the database of children that are available for adoption in Ukraine and the frequency with which the database is updated. In short, our team wants to make sure that we have every opportunity to find the child (or children) that we have been waiting for. We are sure that everyone involved (agency, in-country team and Ukraine) is working in the best interest of the children and prospective parents.

So we will wait. How long? While the team is working on a new time frame/schedule to travel - we've all come to understand that nothing is "lock" until it actually happens. But it is probably safe to say that we will be in the US for the remainder of the summer.

As we have said in the past, everything happens for a reason. We will "keep the faith" and hope that you do too. As we get more information, we will pass it along. Thanks again for all of your support and well wishes.
